Ticketed Admissions for Fall Weekends

To effectively manage the number of people at the orchard during our busiest times, we require admission tickets (ages 12+) on peak fall weekends, mid-September through early November. Thank you for making us part of your fall tradition and family memories!

Every year, families and kids head up the mountain for Carter Mountain’s Easter event. Fun crafts and a visit from the Easter Bunny are just a couple of the eggciting festivities that visitors can expect each year!

On Wednesday evenings, sit back and relax atop Carter Mountain. Set up on our patio, uncork some wine, and unwind to acoustic music and a stunning Charlottesville sunset.

Cultivating Curiosity

Mondays and Tuesdays, June through August

Cultivating Curiosity is a weekday summer program geared towards children 3-8 years old. Morning sessions include storytime, craft, hayride, and fruit picking (in season) with seasonal themes such as apples, peaches, pumpkins, flowers, bees, etc.

Pre-registration is not required, just c’mon out for a little learnin’, a little activity, a little food, and a lot of fun!
