Summer Sundown [2022]
Watch the summer sun descend behind the Blue Ridge Mountains with acoustic music from local performers from 6–8 PM! We’ll be serving up an extended food and wine menu, including shareable charcuterie boards, paninis, and our specialty Sundown Spritz. Bring lawn chairs and blankets to spread out, or get here early for lawn seating.

Fri. June 10 | Sophie McDowell | Her songs and clawhammer banjo playing are inspired by memories, love lost, love found, and of course the magic of the Blue Ridge. While her songs evoke feelings of nostalgia and longing, they still find a way to keep on the sunny side of life.

July 1 | Local Vocals | With powerful vocal chemistry, Local Vocals perform a wide variety of traditional classic acoustic rock of The Eagles, Crosby, Stills & Nash, America, and Jimmy Buffett along with familiar modern selections of The Beatles, Creedence Clearwater Revival, Linda Ronstadt and ambitious unplugged versions of pop and rock groups whose music spans 6 decades.

Fri. July 22 | Meisha Herron | Meisha is a talented blues guitarist and singer. Her specialty is acoustic performances when she can truly deliver songs and make them her own.
Fri. July 29 | Isabel Bailey | Isabel’s velvet vocals and impactful performance deliver an inviting and seductive experience reminiscent of the warm vintage punch of the 60s and 70s.

Fri. August 12 | Eric Cope & Abigail Wagner | Abigail’s powerful and soulful vocals accompanied by Eric’s proficient guitar playing and instrumental loops breathe new life into their original tunes, as well as an assortment of crowd-pleasing covers, every time they are played live.

Chiswell will be open until sunset (approximately 8:00 PM) on both Fridays and Saturdays this summer through the end of September!
