It’s finally fall! We’re excited to jump into the season with one of our most treasured autumn traditions, apple picking.
Apple Orchard Passes are required to enter the orchard for apple picking on weekends in October 2026.

Visitors ages 12 and older who want to enter the orchard and pick their own apples at Chiles Peach Orchard in Crozet, VA, on a ticketed date.
Children under 12 do not need a pass. All children must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
Our reservation system helps us moderate crowd size in our orchards during our peak fall weekends in October 2026, including:
- Saturday & Sunday, 10/3–4
- Saturday & Sunday, 10/10–11
- Saturday & Sunday, 10/17–18
- Saturday & Sunday, 10/24–25
Apple Orchard Passes are not required on any other days this fall. We are open 7 days per week and encourage you to visit on a non-ticketed day!
Each Apple Orchard Pass ($10/person) is good for one admission (ages 12+) to the apple orchard during your designated time slot. You will pre-pay for pick-your-own apple containers onsite.
We are offering 2-hour time slots on ticketed days that start on the hour, 9 AM–4 PM. Please respect your time slot so that we can safely move guests in and out without going over our parking capacity.
The last entrance to pick-your-own apples at Chiles Peach Orchard is 5 PM, and the entire venue closes at 6 PM daily.
A new adventure is growing at Chiles Peach Orchard! The Patch of Fun is open for pumpkin picking and a special outdoor play area on select weekends and school holidays this fall.
Otherwise, on most fall weekdays, the pumpkin patch is free and open to the public; simply pre-pay for your pumpkin(s) when you arrive.
No, our Farm Market, Wine Shop, courtyard, patio, and pavilion are open to the general public for free every day.
You only need an Apple Orchard Pass for apple picking or a Patch of Fun Pass for pumpkin picking on select dates this fall.
Unfortunately, we don’t offer refunds after an Apple Orchard Pass is reserved. We’re open rain or shine and will only close in case of extreme weather. Please be prepared to enjoy your visit with us no matter the weather!
Passes are non-refundable. Your visit is contingent on following signage, staff instructions, and visitor guidelines.
