Holiday Pop-up

Visit Chiswell on Saturday, December 2, to view and shop unique pieces at our holiday pop-up event featuring local artists and Chiswell staff, Sarah Canady and Laura Chatterson!

Local artist Sarah Canady is drawn to images of nature and themes of parenting. She loves incorporating a surprising element in her jewelry, such as a hidden picture or symbol. Her work uses a variety of mediums, including pure and sterling silver, leather, antique paper, fabric, and semi-precious stones. Her jewelry is hand-forged, soldered, and polished.

Potter Laura Chatterson has been working with clay for over 20 years. Her selection comprises functional pottery including mugs, vases, pitchers, and other items perfect for holiday gifting. Although her art is always inspired by nature, she creates her pieces on with two different types of kilns, leading to drastically different results. She celebrates everyday sights and objects that are easy to take for granted, but are actually beautiful and worthy of appreciation.
