Tulip Field Days

Date

Thursday, Mar. 26, 2026 - Sunday, Apr. 19, 2026
Exact dates to be determined! We are expecting tulips to bloom between late March and early April.

Time

10:00 AM — 5:00 PM

Join us for picking, photo ops, and fun during our very first pop-up tulip farm!

In November, we planted 175,000 bulbs on over two acres of farmland. We expect the tulips to bloom between late March and early April for approximately three weeks.

The tulip field will be open every day from 10 AM–5 PM while flowers are in bloom (opening at 1 PM on Easter Sunday, if it overlaps with the blooms).

Each pass will include access to the tulip field, gorgeous photo ops, a sweet fudge treat, and five pick-your-own tulip stems! Entry is free for guests under the age of 3 or over the age of 85.

The Tulip Farm Experience

Stroll through row after row of picturesque tulips, pick a bouquet to take home, enjoy the fresh spring air, and indulge in sweet treats and drinks while you’re here!

In the tulip field, we will be serving wine slushies, fresh-squeezed lemonade (including a spring-themed specialty!), spring frosted sugar cookies, apple cider donuts, homemade fudge, and water.

Additional snacks, drinks, and lunch options are available at the Chiles Peach Orchard Clubhouse. While in season, pre-picked tulip stems and tulip bouquets will also be available in the Farm Market for purchase daily.

Common Questions

How long will the tulips last?

About three weeks. Mother Nature decides the right time for the flowers to pop up and show their vibrant colors. Each flower will bloom at a different time, meaning the field will have fresh new blooms each day. Rest assured: if we are open, there are tens of thousands of tulips to see!

How do we access the tulip field?

During the week (Monday–Thursday), simply visit the Farm Market and let a staff member know you’d like to enter the tulip field. They will get you set up!

On weekends (Friday–Sunday), park in our parking lot and carefully cross Jarmans Gap Road. Follow the tulips to our entry booth, near the red barn.

How do I buy tickets?

You can purchase Day Passes or Season Passes online or on-site at Chiles Peach Orchard.

Guests under 3 and over 85 do not need a ticket.

Can I get more pick-your-own tulips? Where can I buy tulips ready-picked?

There’s plenty of flowers to go around! Beyond the five included in your ticket, additional pick-your-own tulips are available for purchase on-site:

  • $2/stem
  • 10 tulips for $15
  • 25 tulips for $30

The Farm Market will have ready-picked tulip stems and bouquets available for purchase throughout the season.

I’m interested in a tulip field photoshoot. What should I know about photography at the event?

During business hours: There are no official timeslots for photographers. Photographers and their clients should purchase tickets for entry, and are free to take as many photos as they like. Drones are not permitted.

After business hours: If you wish to enter the property before or stay after business hours, you must make an appointment in advance. We will attempt to schedule staff to be on-site. If staff are available, the charge is $150 per hour or any portion thereof, payable in advance. If no staffing can be arranged, we will not be able to grant the appointment.

Those on our property without permission during non-business hours are trespassing. Due to previous incidents, we do prosecute trespassers.

What is the condition of the field? Is the field accessible?

The tulip field is a farm field. Depending on the weather, it may be wet and muddy, so we advise guests to dress appropriately. While we’ve worked hard to maintain the grounds, there will be bare spots and unlevel ground.

Please remember that the conditions of the field depend on the weather not only during your visit, but on the days leading up to your visit. If it has rained in the days prior to your visit, boots (or maybe Dutch clogs?) are always a good idea.

What if it’s a rainy day?

Weather can be unpredictable, and we know some visitors have their heart set on a cloudless sky. Cloudy days are often ideal for photography, with diffused, even lighting, and what’s a more iconic sign of spring than April showers in a flower field?

Day Pass holders may manage tickets until 11:59 PM the day before their ticketed date. However, we do not offer refunds due to weather. We encourage visitors to pack umbrellas and boots to enjoy the tulip fields even on rainy days!

Can I bring my dog?

We regret that we do not permit any pets on the property; please leave your furry friends at home. Only service dogs who are trained to perform a task directly related to a person’s disability are allowed.

How can I keep my tulip bouquet fresh longer?

Make the most of your fresh-picked tulips! Simple care tips can keep them lively for longer:

  • Tulips wilt faster when warm. Keep them out of direct sunlight with cool water!
  • Keep a small amount of water in the vase. Change their water as frequently as every other day, re-cutting the stems about an inch each time. Cut stems at a 45 degree angle.
  • Tulips continue to grow after they’re cut! If you’re selecting your own vase, make sure there’s plenty of room.
