A day at the orchard is already a joy, and talented local musicians bring a whole new level of energy! We invite you to shop the Farm Market, pick seasonal fruit, and kick back with an ice cream cone or glass of Carter Mountain Wine to enjoy these wonderful performances.

Sunday 5/14: Luke Richard Powers – Virginia-based singer-songwriter influenced by the genres of folk, Americana, bluegrass, and country

Saturday 5/20: Theocles – A guitar, a loop pedal, a mic, and a soulful voice to carry the audience through a range of emotions

Sunday 5/21: Isabel Bailey Duo – Folk, rock, and pop with velvet vocals, inspired by Bob Dylan, Johnny Cash, and Amy Winehouse

Saturday 8/12: Cake Fight – Playing a little of everything from Motown and classic rock to modern pop, they will have everyone singing along to their favorite songs.

Sunday 8/13: Billy & The Backbeats – Your favorite tunes from the 50s, 60, 70s, 80s and beyond, rock and roll, blues, soul, r&b, and country

Saturday 8/19: Nicholas Darden – Nicholas is a singer-songwriter who draws inspiration from many different genres and artists. His goal is to bring honest and emotional performances to the people he performs for. 

Sunday 8/20: The Webley Twizzle Project – Traditional celtic and american music mixed with originals, dance tunes, & the occasional ragtime hit

Saturday 8/26: James 3 Duo – An afternoon of Country, Rockabilly, and blues!

Sunday 8/27: Cool Breeze Band – Easy light rock hits that everyone can enjoy

Saturday 9/2: Mercy Trail – Great hits from the past; chances are, if you love them, they play them!

Saturday 9/9: Shawn & Terrance – Guitar and saxophone musical duo playing a wide range of rock and roll. Inspired by Dave Matthews Band, Grateful Dead, The Beatles, John Mayer and many more. 

Sunday 9/10: The New Outliers (TNO) – A mix of old rock, newer rock, country, and folk

Saturday 9/16: Jim Richardson Band (JRB) – Cooking up a bluesy blend of subversive, folk-influenced Americana

Sunday 9/17: Afton Crossing – Playing an unusual variety of genres: Celtic, Cajun, German, Italian Folk songs, 17th and 18th Century English Country Dance tunes, Old Time tunes, Popular songs from the 50’s and 60’s, some Klezmer and a few Finnish and Flemish Folk melodies

Saturday 9/23: [CANCELED] Michael Mulvaney w/ Silent George – An eclectic collection of Blue Americana songs integrating and combining and adapting many other genres

Sunday 9/24: Me and Martha – Keeping America’s Mountain Music alive playing bluegrass, old-time, folk, rural swing, and classic country

Saturday 9/30: Her Checkered Past Trio – Engaging music fit for any any elegant dinner party or outdoor hootenanny


October

Sunday 10/1: Lauren Cash – Independent singer-songwriter based in Richmond, Virginia. Her style is alternative, primarily inspired by 60’s and 70’s music.

Saturday 10/7 (12:30–3:30 PM): Circus Mutt – Drawing from a spectrum of musical influences including rock-n-roll, jazz and bluegrass

Sunday 10/8: Tara Mills Trio – Playing “original blue ridge mountain folk,” inspired by the Blue Ridge Mountains and the rich musical traditions tied to them.

Saturday 10/14: Theocles – A guitar, a loop pedal, a mic, and a soulful voice to carry the audience through a range of emotions

Sunday 10/15: Vintage Silk – Performing together since 2012, Dave Shilling and Jeanie Bell are renowned for their vocal harmonies. The duo’s Folk Revival tunes cover legendary artists like The Everly Brothers, Simon & Garfunkel, and Crosby, Stills & Nash.
