Thursday Evening Sunset Series
May through September
Sunsets at Carter Mountain Orchard bring the community together on Thursdays—May through September—with live music, food, wine, hard cider, and good times! “Check out the musical lineup for “TESS”
Late May through August
A similar concept to our beloved Come Grow with Us program at Chiles Peach Orchard, Cultivating Curiosity is a summer program, held on Mondays and Tuesdays at 10am. The program is geared towards children 3-8 years old and will generally last about an hour and a half, with a story time, craft, hayride, and fruit picking (in season).
“Such a fun event! My two boys loved it (and I did too). We will be back for more of them!”
Both sessions during the week will include the same activities, which we’ll switch up from week to week. Seasonal themes include apples, peaches, pumpkins, flowers, bees, etc. The cost is $10/child.
Pre-registration is not required, just c’mon out for a little learnin’, a little activity, a little food, and a lot of fun!
Every year at the peak of the summer we celebrate the peak of our peach season at the Ol’ Fashioned Peach Festival! Family-fun activities include: pick-your-own peaches, games and prizes, hayrides, face painting, and more! And every year the new Carter Mountain Orchard Royal Peach Court is crowned.
Apple Harvest Celebration
September, October, November
Apple Harvest is our biggest celebration of the year! Every fall, visitors are invited to pick-your-own fun with food, hayrides, wine tastings, pumpkins, apple picking, apple butter, apple cider, apple cider donuts, apple pie, and all things apple!
