SUMMARY:Cultivating Curiosity
DESCRIPTION:\nLearn & Play at the Orchard\n\n\n\nMornings @ 10:30 AM | $15.00 per participating child\n\n\n\nCultivating Curiosity is Carter Mountain Orchard’s children’s program, running on select days in the winter. The program is geared towards ages 3-8, and all ages are welcome.\n\n\n\nEach session will feature its own fun baking activity and craft, so each child can bring home special holiday goodies they made themselves! We’ll also have storytime, a holiday show on the TV, and a hot cup of cocoa or apple cider for warm and cozy vibes up on the mountain.\n\n\n\n\nArrive at least 15 minutes early to register. \n\n\n\nNo drop-offs — an adult must be with children at all times.\n\n\n\n\nHoliday Schedule\n\n\n\n\n \n \n\n\n\n \n \n Wednesday, Nov. 25 \n \n Craft: Egg carton penguins\nBaked Good: Melting snowman graham crackers\nShow: The Christmas Visitor (1959)\n\n \n\n\n\n\n\n \n \n Friday, Dec. 18 \n \n Craft: Pinecone Christmas trees\nBaked Good: Christmas tree cookies\nShow: Christmas Comes but Once a Year (1936)\n\n \n\n\n\n\n\n \n \n Monday, Dec. 21 \n \n Craft: Reindeer crinkle paper ornament\nBaked Good: Reindeer chow\nShow: Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer (1948)\n\n \n\n\n\n\n\n \n \n Tuesday, Dec. 22 \n \n Craft: Snowman paper chains\nBaked Good: Powdered donut snowman\nShow: Hector’s Hectic Life\n\n \n\n\n\n\n\n \n \n Monday, Dec. 28 \n \n Craft: Fork-painted polar bear\nBaked Good: Bear bread\nShow: Santa and the Three Bears (1970)\n\n \n\n\n\n\n\n \n \n Tuesday, Dec. 29 \n \n Craft: Melting snowmen\nBaked Good: Snowman skewers\nShow: Jack Frost (1934)\n\n \n\n\n \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n Follow Carter Mountain Orchard on Facebook and Instagram, or join our email newsletter to stay in the know for event updates!\n\n\n\n\n\n
