No tickets are required for children under 12. All activities are a la carte.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nHow much are tickets?\n\n\n\nEntry tickets for a particular day are $9/person (ages 12+). \n\n\n\nFor flexibility, we are offering a limited number of Anytime Tickets ($20/person) that may be used one time on any of our ticketed days.\n\n\n\nChildren under 12 are free.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nWhy do I need a ticket?\n\n\n\nFall weekends are a very popular time to visit Carter Mountain Orchard. If you’d like to visit the orchard in person on one of the ticketed days—including entering the Country Store, Wine Shop, and Bold Rock Tap Room, or picking apples—you’ll need a ticket.\n\n\n\nTickets are not required on any other day. We encourage you to visit on a weekday or non-ticketed day.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nDo I need to get tickets before I arrive?\n\n\n\nTo guarantee the date and time slot you want, reserve your tickets in advance.\n\n\n\nIf you arrive without a ticket, we’ll accommodate you as space allows; however, if we have reached capacity, we won’t allow any further guests that day and you’ll be directed back down the mountain. Plan ahead when possible!\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nCan I come at any time during the day? \n\n\n\nWhen you purchase a ticket you will select a time slot. Time slots on ticketed days start on the hour, 9 AM–4 PM.   The tickets are good for a visit of up to 3 hours.\n\n\n\nLast entry to pick-your-own apples is one hour before closing. Carter Mountain Orchard closes at 6 PM in September & October and 5 PM in November. View our seasonal hours\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nWhat do I do when I arrive at Carter Mountain?\n\n\n\nWhen you arrive at the orchard, an attendant will review your ticket and give you a wristband that is color-coded to your timeslot.\n\n\n\nOnce inside our gates, enjoy Carter Mountain Orchard!\n\n\n\n\nShop for gifts and goodies in our Country Store ( https://chilesfamilyorchards.com/carter-mountain-orchard/market/ ) and indulge in hot and fresh apple cider donuts from our bakery\n\n\n\nGrab an ice cream cone or apple cider slushie, and check out our food trucks for the day’s tasty options\n\n\n\nVisit our Wine Shop ( https://chilesfamilyorchards.com/carter-mountain-orchard/wine/ ) for wine by the glass, bottle, or case, or for one of our delicious wine slushies\n\n\n\nHead down to the Bold Rock Tap Room for hard ciders and seltzers\n\n\n\nCheck out our pumpkin display and take home your favorite\n\n\n\nPurchase pre-picked apples by the bag or box\n\n\n\nPick your own apples ( https://chilesfamilyorchards.com/carter-mountain-orchard/fruit/ )\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAre apples and pumpkins included with my ticket?\n\n\n\nEntry tickets do not include any fruit with purchase.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nHow does apple picking work?\n\n\n\nOnce you arrive and have your ticket scanned, we can direct you to the pick-your-own ( https://chilesfamilyorchards.com/carter-mountain-orchard/fruit/ ) check-in area for apple picking instructions and to purchase your container.\n\n\n\nLast entrance for pick-your-own apples is one hour before closing. View our seasonal hours\n\n\n\nPicking conditions and varieties available vary by day and are subject to weather, customer traffic, and other conditions outside our control. View the Now Picking chart at chiles.farm/carter-pyo.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nWhat if I can’t make it?\n\n\n\nSorry, we don’t offer refunds once your ticket is purchased. \n\n\n\nManage your tickets until 11:59 PM the day before your ticketed date.\n\n\n\nWe’re open rain or shine and will only close in extreme weather, so feel free to enjoy your visit with us no matter the forecast. In cases where you’re unable attend, please pass your tickets on to someone else who can!\n\n\n\nIf you purchased an Anytime ticket, we’ll see you on whichever day is most convenient for you!\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nTickets are non-refundable. Your stay is contingent upon you following signage, staff instructions, and visitor guidelines. Your ticket is good for your admission to Carter Mountain Orchard. All activities are pay-as-you-go.\n
