Fall in love with flowers! \n\n\n\nOn Sunday, September 17, we’re hosting Jennifer Phillips at Chiswell for a fall decor wreath-making workshop. As owner and floral designer of Vase and Vine in Mt. Jackson, Virginia, and Blue Ridge Florist in Harrisonburg, Virginia, Jennifer is no stranger to the joy that fall florals can bring. \n\n\n\nWhether you’re a seasoned wreath-maker or are just getting started, this workshop will leave you with new skills and a wreath made with love.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nA note from Jennifer Phillips\n\n\n\nI’m passionate about flowers and all things beautiful. Several years ago, I started my floral journey by helping my twin sister with her flower shop on busy holidays such as Valentine’s Day and Mother’s Day. However, my passion for creating started when I was very young. I come from a family of very crafty and talented people. From my great-grandmother who sewed quilts, a grandmother who painted, a grandfather who did beautiful woodworking and building small planes, and various aunts and cousins who are painters, quilters, and other talents in my family. We hold a family retreat every year for a week where we all come together to visit, sew, paint, or any other hobby we may choose to work on.\n\n\n\nI’m married and live in Timberville, VA, where you’ll find me walking through the woods collecting ferns or pinecones to add to my floral arrangements.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nRegistration\n\n\n\nAll participants must be 21 or older. Advance registration is required, with payment due at the time of registration. Reserve your spot by calling 434.252.2947 during business hours.
